My utilities
Here you will find some of my utilities to help a chessplayer to mangage small tasks.
- Dgt2Wb (09/06-2005)
- Let you use DGT board in a GUI that support winboard engines.
- ECO_CA.zip (11/26-2007)
- A classifier for Chess Assistant to classify games after the ECO index.
- FileWatch (08/31-2007)
- A program to copy files periodical or whenever they are changed.
- GradualTest (12/11-2007)
- All the test utilities for chess engines that is in my knowledge is primary designed for tactical tests (only one best move). My need was to have a test utility that could be running on test position where there could be many good moves and maybe one best move, just like you see in some test books.
- GradualTest converters (12/11-2007)
- Two converters for converting the epd file beetween GradualTest and Chess Assistant. Use Test Style = complex in CA.
- InBetween (06/05-2007)
- This program act as an in between program when one program (client) try to control another program (server). Typical: a chess GUI that try to control the engine. Sometimes the command sets of both programs are in conflict. It is here you can use this little utility to adjust the command after it is delivered from the client and before it receives on the server or in the other direction.
- Pgn2Shr (09/06-2005)
- A commandline tool to convert pgn-files into textbook compatible to Shredders bookimport.
- PgnSplit (01/04-2006)
- A commandline tool to convert pgn-files including games with variation into pgn-files where each variation get its own game. Useful if you make handcrafted books in a DB app. but your engine don't support variations in games.
- PolarEngine (09/06-2005)
- The pure engine used in PolarChess for use in other gui (Winboard compatible).
- SjkBase11
- Java applet for showing PGN-files online. Also possible to view combination.
- Wb2Uci
- Adapter to make winboard engines play in uci-guis.
